Emir Sevim, I am a Turkish street photographer.

I started taking photographs in 2011 during my university years.

I interested in photography as I studied in the Cinema-TV department.

In the beginning, I was taking more architectural, landscape, portrait style photographs.

Later I discovered street photography. The spirit of street photography drew me in.

I saw that I express myself best by taking street photographs and I started to improve myself on this road.

Photographs taken by great street photography masters such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Alex Webb, Lee Friedlander, Nikos Economopouolos and Josef Koduelka helped me understand street photography.

I try to take photos in every spare time to improve myself and I constantly watch photos taken by different photographers.

I feel very lucky in street photography because I live in Istanbul.

Because Istanbul is one of the most beautiful cities in the world where street photos can be taken.

I try to take different photos every day in this city. one of Istanbul's most beautiful floor as well as Turkey's first and most important to me is my street photography admission to the collective Turkuaz Street Collective.

I believe we will do great things with the collective in the coming years.
