Emir Sevim, I am a Turkish street photographer.
I started taking photographs in 2011 during my university years.
I interested in photography as I studied in the Cinema-TV department.
In the beginning, I was taking more architectural, landscape, portrait style photographs.
Later I discovered street photography. The spirit of street photography drew me in.
I saw that I express myself best by taking street photographs and I started to improve myself on this road.
Photographs taken by great street photography masters such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Alex Webb, Lee Friedlander,
Nikos Economopouolos and Josef Koudelka helped me understand street photography.
I try to take photos in every spare time to improve myself and I constantly watch photos taken by different photographers.
I feel very lucky in street photography because I live in Istanbul.
Because Istanbul is one of the most beautiful cities in the world where street photos can be taken.
